Philadelphia, by way of Bethlehem, is The Teeth's home. If you don't know about The Teeth, you listen to entirely too much crap. If you listen to crap, then, well ... that's just sad.

Carry The Wood was recorded by the band in a garage somewhere on a digital 16-track recorder. The Teeth was just signed to Park The Van Records and has released Carry The Wood, the band's third recording, through that label. Laden with rich harmonies, accordion sounds, horns, sparse but appreciated drumming, and jangly guitars, The Teeth creates a sound that is exciting and fresh. (Although the group's press release does draw comparisons to The Kinks and Talking Heads, think about the sunnier side of The Shins, too.) The sound is altogether unique, fun, and intelligent.
